Let me take a minute to introduce myself! I am Meghan O’Brien and I am the Volunteer Coordinator for Community Living Kirkland Lake. I am very excited that you have decided to check out our Volunteer Program! As the Volunteer Coordinator it is my responsibility to plan, develop and implement the volunteer services program. In other words I am the one who finds volunteers, trains and matches them accordingly. I am also the person that liaises between the volunteers, our individuals, management and staff. But, I do not stop there! I then put on my event planning hat and organize fundraising events. I guess you can say I am very busy, but I would not have it any other way. My job is a lot of fun and I can only hope I create a fun environment for volunteers as well.
