Annice Tilley
President, Member of the Executive Committee, Finance Committee, Strategic Planning Committee, Health & Wellness Committee and Community Promotion Committee
Member of the Board since 1994
Prior to retirement, Annice, who is a Registered Nurse, was the Director of Emergency Care at the Kirkland and District Hospital for 23 years and a Teaching/Clinical Instructor of Nursing at Northern College. While working in the emergency department, Annice was always impressed by the care and compassion shown by staff towards the individuals we support. Upon retirement while looking for an organization to get involved with, Annice was approached to join our organization and feels very honoured to be a part of it.
When Annice retired, she adopted the motto “I’d rather burn out than rust out”. She feels it is important to use what talents and energies you have for your own self-worth and for the betterment of the community we live in.
