As with other non-profit agencies, there is a need for recognition and awareness in the community. Volunteers are needed to participate in events held by the Agency that fundraise and promote a positive community outlook toward acceptance and inclusion of individuals with a developmental disability. CLKL’s most popular public relations event is our annual Christmas Parade float.
Entertainer
The individuals that we support love the warm interaction they receive when someone is reading to them or playing music for them. There are evenings set aside in each home for such times of entertainment.
Skills/Hobby Mentor
